I’m a Tokyo based product designer with a strong focus on data driven design and clean, meaningful user interfaces.
Through iterative, data driven design processes, we built a world class Bitcoin wallet for iOS & Android from the ground up in a matter of months. From there, we have continually shipped improved user experience and features, backed by analytics and behavioural research.

As a data driven designer, it's important to collect reliable data through various research methods, both quantitative and qualitive.
I believe in clean minimal interfaces that put content first. My tools of choice are Sketch, Figma, After effects & Photoshop
I believe that a good designer needs a grasp on code to be able to create experiences that consider all aspects of the product including development.
I make a concious effort to improve my coding abilities and build my own side projects regularly.
Prototyping is key to the concept ideation phase and early testing, while also being useful when explaining complex concepts to the team & stakeholders. My weapons of choice are Protopie, Figma & Invision
Good analytics are key to understanding demographics, user behavior and pin pointing bottle necks in user flows.
Design systems enables us to create concepts and build UI faster and more consistently, by having a prebuilt set of UI components and re-usable code base.
I have been designing experiences for over 10 years. In that time I have run my own agency, directed projects for some of the largest software, broadcasting and financial companies in the world, and won multiple awards for design.
Currently I am working with Bitcoin.com as a product design lead to help introduce their wallet application to a larger, more diverse audience.
This website is focused on my design work, but you can find my artistic/photography endevors over at www.agk42.com
